Like alexf24 and Batwingsix pointed out it's triple the doubloon cost of the previous premium skins they released. Doesn't seem worth it unless you really like playing the Hipper and want to use her to train up captains since it's going to run you $15 dollars. It's pretty close but like zFireWyvern pointed out a lot of the fine detail is missing from what I believe they're going off of. 15 bucks is quite a bit for a non prem ship but considering I already have the Roon and my Hipper captain is perm for her it may be worth it There are a few historical camo's added to certain ships in 5.3 Gameplay wise it's plausible, becasue Tier X doesn't introduce anything different, it's just a different meta for that tier and with more premiums in that tier range, the meta shifts the most.It was announced in the 5.3 video IIRC, I saw it in one of the vids they put up on the EU forum. It's debatable if silver ships are as good as gold ones for low to mid tiers, because all the povercreep ones are limited edition or not aviable in the shop till some rare ocasion with limited aviablity and lootboxes tied to them.Īs a rule of thumb, most wait patiently till WG makes a discount on permanent camos to buy the ones they need, that's likely once in a year. That's one of the reasons to buy a t2-5 premium. It provides identical bonuses at each tier as premium camouflage, with the added bonus of reduced repair costs from Tier VII on up. Sadly, it's available to most regular tech tree ships of Tiers VI, VII and VIII, and all tech tree ships of Tiers IX and X. A permanent camo on a silver ship is only worth it if you plan to spend a lot of your time in it and all it does is add greather ammounts of Elite Commander XP as the primary reason to invest in it.
